Reserve Feeders

M&M Machinery - Reserve Feeder

The M&M  Reserve Feeder was designed to store opened fibers (natural or man-made), and act as a reserve between bale opening and either cleaning or chute fed cards. A nearly constant level of fiber is maintained in the reserve by a photoelectric cell-actuated drive system. This insures product uniformity, processing efficiency and a minimum of labor and supervision.

The reserve is available in widths of 36 inches to 72 inches and lengths of 9 to 20 feet.

Cross Blenders

M&M Machinery - Cross Blenders

The M&M "Cross Blender", Model MHRF, combined with the automatic bale opening system, will produce homogeneous blends that will result in consistent card sliver for yarn, and in uniform webs for nonwovens. The unit is used for blending and reserve for all types of fibers with maximum staple length of 250mm (10 inches). Depending on the application and fiber type, the material is fed to the Cross Blender by condenser, blow-in hood, or a cyclone.

The Cross Blender is available in widths of 48 inches to 84 inches, and lengths determined by customer requirements.
